I'm Still Here!

I haven't been a good blogger lately, but lack of post does not reflect a lack of activity.

My days have been very focused on completing the never-ending kitchen project.  Seriously, it feels like I will never be done, so I made the decision that I will do something in the kitchen everyday.  Everyday.  And I'm finally seeing progress.  We've had a lot of help along the way, but these final steps are all up to me.  I'm learning as I go.  And because I am not a DIY'er by any means, I'm also proud of myself :)

The first step, which was to replace the counter-top, sink and faucet happened at the end of MAY.  I can't wait to show the final pictures.  Here's a little reminder of the before...

This also gets us closer to our foster parent certification.  That's tentatively scheduled for the end of February (yes, I know it was supposed to be August, but that was before we started tearing our kitchen apart).

We've also made the monumental decision to home school Josh next year!  So excited, but that will have to wait for another post. 

So much more going on with Bible study, Dinner Club, hosting Bunco on Monday, etc.

Promise to be a good blogger when my kitchen is DONE!
